Armchair Piast “type B” from 1975. Produced in Rzeszow Furniture Company.
The wood plant was established in Sędziszów Małopolski in 1921. It has been producing furniture since the late 1960s. In 1971, the Ministry of Forestry and Wood Industry established a company under the name Rzeszowskie Fabryki Mebli with its headquarters in Sędziszów Małopolski, which included, among others, Furniture Factory in Kolbuszowa. In 2006, the plant in Sędziszów Paged Rzeszowskie Fabryki Mebli SA was taken over by Paged-Fabryki Mebli Sp. z o.o. from Jasienica, then the company name was changed to Paged Meble Sp. z o. o. Today’s plant produce around 2,000 tables and 10,000 chairs per month.
The chair has been completely disassembled, the wood was cleaned of old paint coatings, glued again, protected with oil based on natural Chinese oils, environmentally friendly. Beech wood. New upholstery, upholstery foam, belts, padding. Hand-sewn. Good quality fabric, abrasion resistance 30,000 strokes. New metal screws. Cult model of Piast armchair in a new look.
