Description
Audion Box Rubin 208 Loudspeakers. HI-FI Stereo. Classic Vintage. Completely revitalized.
Rosita Tonmöbel was founded in the 1950s. It produced cabinets and consoles for RTV equipment in a 2.500-square-meter hall in the city of Paderborn in the north-west of Germany. Rosita products were also very popular in the 70’s and 80’s. The company created ready-made sets consisting of a cabinet and permanently inserted audio equipment (turntables, amplituners, amplifiers etc.) of well-known brands such as Marantz, Sony, Hitachi, Grundig, Philips, Loewe or Dual.
One of the most well-known products of the company was Vision 2000 – a futuristic white and black plastic table on a silver leg, designed by Thielo Oerke. Audio equipment was embedded into the table top. The table was covered with a special transparent plexiglass.
Sets from the 80s were complemented with own brand loudspeakers called Audion. It is worth paying attention to the characteristic Audion logo – an inscription with a clearly outlined shape of the upper part of a female figure, which from the 1950s was a symbol of the Rosita company.
The Audion Rubin 208 loudspeakers were produced for the Helsinki 82, Amsterdam 82 set, and were compatible with Sony and Hitachi receivers and Dual turntables. The loudspeakers used Westra speakers. They have a clean and spatial sound. They are definitely selective, and the music scene can be described as pure, or even crystal.
The cases have been completely revitalized. Boxes are made of teak wood. Finishing screws used in speaker mounts are high quality. Wood finish is made with Chinese oil produced of natural oils. Wood feels nice to touch.
