Description
Dutch ART DECO chairs designed by the Verhouden brothers in 1956. Fully revitalised. 2 same colour items available.
The Stoelen- en Meubelfabriek Gebroeders Verhouden factory was established by Cees (Cornelis) Verhouden in 1937 in the Dutch city of Oirschot. His brothers Frans and Jan joined the company later, in 1946.
The chairs have been disassembled, the old coats of varnish fully removed, the armchair has then been glued together again, treated with Chinese natural and eco-friendly oil. New upholstery and foam. Very high quality fabric, durable, able to withstand 50 000 double rubs. Made of beech. Very comfortable, brilliantly shaped to use at a desk.
