Industrial lamp ORP-125 PRL, fully revitalised. Manufactured in MESKO, Zakłady Metalowe Skarżysko in 1973.
MESKO was established in 1922 and started operating on 25th August 1924 as Państwowa Fabryka Amunicji (ammunition factory) and later as Zakłady Metalowe MESKO SA. Currently the company manufactures weapons and ammunition with its headquarters in Skarżysko-Kamienna. Manufacturer’s code is 21. The factory used to manufacture white goods, during the People’ Republic of Poland era it was a part of Predom association.
The body of the lamp is a high pressure die casting made of an aluminium alloy. It was originally coated with grey hammer finish paint. It has been stripped of the old coat of paint, sanded and powder coated with black on the outside and reflective white on the inside. The lamp has a Fresnel lens at the bottom end with concentric annular ridges. The original screws and other joining elements have been cleaned and refitted. The set is complete with 30 cm of steel chain, cables, a metal hook and a dimmable LEXMAN halogen 70 W bulb compared to a conventional 100 W bulb. Warm yellow light, 2800K. Ready to be fitted. 9 items available in this colour. A cult lamp from the Polish People’s Republic era.
