Description

Kapsch KB 4065 Speakers. HI-FI Stereo. Classic Vintage. Completely revitalized.

In 1892 Johann Kapsch founded a precision workshop in Vienna – manufacturing, among others, Morse telegraph devices and underwater telephones. The company’s offer was constantly increased by products such as mobile phones and rain-proof alarms. In 1912 Kapsch opened a modern factory, and 4 years later the company adopted the name Telefon- und Telegrafen-Fabriks-Aktiengesellschaft Kapsch & Söhne in Wien and during the First World War it became the exclusive telecommunications supplier for the army. In the 1920s, Kapsch began producing radio. In the 1920s, Kapsch began producing radio. The advertising slogan “Tell radio, think Kapsch” was created, and in 1930 he presented the first complete television broadcast. Despite the destruction associated with the Second World War in 1945, the company resumed the production of radio and television receivers, and also began to repair the telecommunications network in cooperation with the Austrian post. In the 50s and 60s, it focused on the development of televisions and portable radio receivers, and the 70s was the period of production of hi-fi stereo equipment: turntables and cassette players, as well as loudspeakers.

However, in 1985 Kapsch changed its operating strategy and withdrew completely from the consumer electronics market, focusing on the investment goods market.

KB 4065 is a set of small speakers that perfectly cope with building a multidimensional and expressive sound stage. They are characterized by selective sound, thanks to which the listener can immerse himself in the full and rich musical space.

The cases have been completely revitalized. Boxes are made of Canadian maple and birch wood, the front panel is made of exotic wood doussie. The finishing screws used in speaker mounts are high quality. Wood finish is made with Chinese oil produced of natural oils. The wood feels nice to the touch.
