Mirsch OM3-28 loudspeakers. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.
In 1971, sound engineer Olle Mirsch decided to build speakers in his home studio that could recreate the sound of a concert hall in a standard living room. He quit his regular job and invested all his savings in this project. In the 70s and 80s, his company became one of the largest Swedish loudspeaker producers, and the brand became the synonym of high quality speakers with a beautiful design. A large part of this can be credited to Lars Lallerstedt, a designer and one of the Swedish pioneers of industrial design, who was the creator of the Mirsch logo and designed the first few products.
The OM3-28 are simple and timeless speakers produced by Mirsch in the 70s and extremely successful both in Sweden and abroad. In 1977 alone, the company sold in total 25 000 pairs of speakers, half of which were OM3-28s. This model is distinguished by a clear and wide soundstage, soft lows and detailed mid-range.
The enclosures have been completely revitalized. American cherry wood adds incredible charm to the speakers. High quality finishing screws. The bases of the speakers were painted using the automotive wet painting technique. The wood finish is Chinese oil produced from natural oils and natural turpentine-based beeswax. The wood is very pleasant to the touch. Original grilles.
The set is 100% functional, the speakers are in perfect condition.
