In our projects we do not use veneers that are thin, unreliable and, above all, not resistant to damage!
We use only the highest quality veneers,  i.e. wood sheets of 3-5mm thickness. Thanks to this solution and the bonding technology we have developed, our products are equipped with durable and beautiful enclosures.

Description

Rotel RX 154A receiver. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.

Rotel was founded under the name Roland in the early 1950s in Japan. Initially, it imported and distributed American Sylvania TV sets. However, in 1961, the adventure with TVs ended and the company began to produce high-quality audio components. In effect, within a few years it earned the reputation of an OEM manufacturer creating high-quality and moderately-priced stereo products for brands such as Harman Kardon. Thanks to these successes, the company began to create audio equipment with its own logo.

In 1973, the RX-402 receiver appeared in a consumer report in the “best buy” category. In addition, in the 70s, despite enormous competition, which rather focused on increasing power indicators and adding more and more “frills” to their products, Rotel remained faithful to its roots and constantly focused on improving the quality of sound. In 1982, fruitful cooperation of Japanese and English engineers resulted in the creation of the extremely successful RA-820B amplifier. Since then, Rotel has received many awards from the industry press (including the product of the year of the “What Hi-Fi” magazine) and still has a leading position among manufacturers of high-quality home cinema equipment and stereo music systems.

The RX series … is the quintessence of Rotel’s philosophy – beautiful, simple design and great sound based on proven and effective technical solutions that guarantee its longevity. Unlike other manufacturers, who relished technological innovations (which they later often abandoned), Rotel while creating the RX models … was committed to its advertising slogan “Quality. Uncompromised”.

The RX 154 A is a quadraphonic receiver from the first half of the 70s, distinguished by natural and spacious sound and soft bass. In its catalog from 1973, Rotel advertised this model with the slogan: “Feel the magic of real quadraphony: three-dimensional listening thanks to 4-channel playback.”
