The 1980 “The Empire Strikes Back” is a film made as the second installment of the cult “Star Wars” saga. This time, George Lucas – the screenwriter and director of the first story about the adventures of Luke Skywalker, did not stand behind the camera, but being the creator and producer he once again provided the viewers with world-class cinema.
In this part of the saga, in addition to the heroes known from the first film, such as Princess Lea, Darth Vader and Han Solo, one of the most recognizable characters of the entire series – Yoda, the Jedi master, appears for the first time. As the “Star Wars” universe expanded, the 1980 movie was given its full name “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.”
