Tandberg Hi Fi System 7 loudspeakers. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.
In our projects we do not use veneers that are thin, unreliable and, above all, not resistant to damage!

Description

Tandberg Hi Fi System 7 loudspeakers. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.

Tandbergs Radiofabrikk was founded by Vebjorn Tandberg in Oslo in 1933. The first produced radio model “Tommeliten” could be used only with headphones. It was later followed by “Corona” with a built-in speaker. In 1934 the first radio “Huldra” was launched, and a year later “Solvsuper”. They became the foundation of the company’s success. At the beginning of the 1950s, Tandberg began to produce reel-to-reel tape recorders and introduced a number of prominent ideas in this area. In the 1960s, the company created an improved registration technique that it then licensed to Akai. In 1960, the production of TV sets started. In 1972, Tandberg bought Radionette, a large Norwegian electronics company, and became even more concentrated on the TV market. Until 1976, TVs were the company’s main product, and factories employed 3,500 people. However, in the same year, a severe economic downturn disrupted the company’s operations. In 1978, the company became insolvent. The shareholders’ rebellion caused Vebj0rn Tandberg to lose control of the company and then commit suicide. In December, the company went bankrupt.

Hi-Fi System 7 is a model launched by Tandberg in the early 70s. It is distinguished by a beautiful, classic design typical for products of that time – with grilles made of parallel wooden slats seamlessly connected with the enclosure. The design of the loudspeakers is based on a high quality full-range speaker that delivers exceptionally natural sound and captures the tiniest detail. Thanks to this, the listener can feel like being at a concert. The model is especially recommended to lovers of jazz music.

The enclosures have been completely revitalized. The wood has been cleaned of old coatings. Original Siamese teak veneer. The wood finish is Chinese oil produced from natural oils, as well as natural, turpentine-based beeswax. The wood is very pleasant to the touch.

Included are two speaker cables with a cross section of 2 × 2.5mm and length of 2x5m.
The set is 100% functional, the speakers are in perfect condition.
