In 1965, Günter Schilling began importing products from Asia and soon realized the potential of electronic components and products in the European market. In 1981, his company Inter-Mercador GmbH moved to its current 35,000 m2 location in Bremen-Mahndorf with its own logistics center and European central warehouse. In 2001, the name was changed to MONACOR INTERNATIONAL.
The company’s product range encompasses over 4,300 products in the field of sound and lighting (including stage), automotive hi-fi and safety technology. In addition to the great product variety, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL’s success lies mainly in its high requirements in terms of quality and service. Currently, the brand Monacor is used on loudspeakers, their components and solutions based on them.
Solid State SA 800 is a Monacor amplifier from the 70s. Thanks to its good technical parameters it is characterized by a clean and very natural sound. What additionally attracts attention is the solid construction of this model and the simple, classic form of the front panel made of brushed aluminum.
The enclosure has been completely revitalized. The top cover has been cleaned and painted using the automotive wet painting technique. Black varnish was used and secured with a clear matte one. New American Cherry wood side boards give the player an elegant look.
The device has been completely reviewed and serviced.
